Training

Format

We train all year round through a annual plan. Team players are expected to attended training sessions although Summer is usually a very relaxed time and sessions are open to newcomers

Typical Club Training Calendar goes like this…

June

No Sessions – Summer Leagues played – or rest

July

Pre-season starts – General fitness phase- Focus is Aerobic fitness & Agility – train as a Club together outdoors @ Chalfont Courts 7 – 9pm Thursday

August

Pre-season continues – Specific fitness phase – Focus is netball specific skills, Speed & Strength – train as a Club together outdoors @ Chalfont Courts 7 – 9pm Thursday

September

Pre Competition – Focus is game play to bed in teams – train as a Club together outdoors @ Chalfont Courts 7 – 9pm Thursday

September – April

Competition Phase – split out bi weekly – train as upper and lower league teams as determined by the Midweek League positions. Focus is on tactics, strategies, skills. Teams play one week Weds and train the opposite week Thursday @ Loddon Valley Leisure centre Thursday

May

As we tail off into end of season and weather improves (at least thats the plan!) we go back outdoors – train as a Club together outdoors @ Chalfont Courts 7 – 9pm Thursday

 

Mondays 7 – 9pm Berkshire Premier League Squad @Bracknell & Wokingham College
Thursdays 7:30 – 9:30pm Loddon Valley Leisure Centre D1/2/3/4 teams on bi-weekly rota

All sessions are run by L2 coaches.
