Whirlwinds took on sprightly Thunderbirds4 in the Reading Midweek League D4. It was always going to be a tough game having lost to T’birds in their first half season fixture. Despite slightly messy play, Whirlwinds made less mistakes than their opponents and brought home a 23-17 win. (POM Tamara Tompsett)
