Storm vs Laurel Park Tornadoes
Very close first quarter with Storm just edging 9-7. Second quarter excellent attacking and defending by Laurel Park to take them into the lead 15-13. Third quarter saw Storm quick out of the blocks. An injury to a Laurel Park player saw Laurel Park down to six which Storm capitalised on. Laurel Park player was a bit bruised but soon back on court. 24-22 to Storm. Final quarter saw lead change several times – great attacking by both teams but Storm edged ahead and won – a nailbiting finish. Final score 31-30 to Storm who hold on to second place in the table.
