Cyclones took on TNT at an increasingly windy Theale, where thankfully the rain just about held off. Our defence and shooters were fantastic and a big thank you to Libby Covell (GD) for playing her second full match of the day with us. Our centre court players managed to stick to reasonably straight line passes but could have improved the accuracy so that there were less turn overs. However, Cyclones steadily built up a convincing lead and converted far more shots than TNT who struggled in attack to improve their scoreline at the same rate. Lots to work on but a very solid performance overall from LP, and a delighted captain to boot. The drought is over: the game ended a neat 30 – 10 to Cyclones.
