Q1: Strong attacking play and great defence from the attack and centre court meant Hurricanes started strong and won the first quarter 9-1. Katie Ralls (GS) and Megan Williams (GA) were on fire with shooting and working the circle well.
Q2: Started strongly with great defence from Erin Graham (C) Freya (WD) and Liz Johns (GD) protecting the circle edge well winning turnovers regularly and resulting in Hurricanes only letting one goal in all quarter.
Q3: Hurricanes maintained their focus, Holly Walsh (WD) played very well with Sophie Grindey (GD/WD/GK!) pushing the play forward and providing the support to attack when needed. Jade Ballinger (WA), and Erin, fed the ball precisely and with great vision. Again conceding just one goal – credit to the whole team!
Q4 energy slacked off a little meant 6 goals conceded, however, quick sharp passes extended our lead to take a 30-9 win!
