Another tough start of season match for LP Storm saw them take on SB.
Similarly to LP Blaze, they were struggling with players due to injuries and holidays andwith only 5 squad players available, borrows were a necessity seeing Erin Graham (C) and Polly Gardener (GK) taking the court for another full on 60 minutes !
LP Storm started the match well against an experienced SB side. Plenty of turnovers and rebounds gave LP Storm the opportunity to remain within reaching distance as Tilehurst took the lead.
A tough 3rd quarter for LP Storm saw Tilehurst push hard and stretch their lead.
Throughout the match LP Storm showed promise with some great passages of play. Some fabulous long ranged shooting by Keeley Symonds (GS) earned her POM for the 2nd time in a day. Final score LP Storm 29 Tilehurst 45. Well played ladies – onwards and upwards.
