LP Derby this week saw Whirlwinds play Clubmates Tornadoes over in Theale.
Whirlwinds started strong keeping the goal line narrow and heads high. Tornadoes put the pressure on and gained some good interceptions in mid court. Whirlwinds defended well going for every rebound but Tornadoes’ shooting was on fire (Kerry Oliver GA & Laura Ferguson GS)
Whirlwinds kept the pressure up and managed to gain a point with some great shooting.
Libby Penny got a well deserved Pom. Special mention for Jill Fredericks and her giggles in the last quarter!
