Tornadoes took on Highmoor Ibis and started the game well, turning over the first centre. Good play in centre court saw us lead the first quarter 6-1. We allowed some sloppy balls around the circle in the second (not helped by the wind) and allowed Highmoor to get 2 goals in the second but we still led 11-3 at half time. Focus regained and some good turn overs meant we didn’t concede any more goals in the third and cemented our win in the fourth. Quiet night for defence in the end but thanks to Ali Haslam for dropping back to WD for the first time in a while and well done to Kerry Oliver for POM. Final score 28-7 x
