Hurricanes took on Tadley today with a few new players helping us out. Sophie from Razzlers and Simone (GA) stepped in to join Shelli Read (GS) in attack. Erin Graham as C and Liz Johns as WD made for a solid defensive centre court and I joined Hannah in defence. We started the first quarter a bit hesitantly quickly letting the score get to 3-0 to Tadley, but we clicked into play with a few turnovers and we finished the quarter 6-5 to Tadley. Tadley kept there lead throughout the game and extended the win at every quarter. The final quarter saw us down to 6 men for a while due to injury and with a big last push Tadley won with a final score of 39-19 to Tadley. Personally I don’t think this score reflects the play and enthusiasm on court. Good game Hurricanes and we pushed right to the end, we’ll have them again next time! X x x
