Great game for Cyclones this morning against a very strong Storm team who were very nearly promoted last season.
Game started out fairly evenly and then Storm found their rythym to take a 14-7 lead at half time.
Cyclones then started the third quarter really strongly with some excellent shooting by new young shooter Lucy Hartney and Kelly Thomas (GA) from some great feeds by Edna Corrigan-Brown (WA) and Ali Haslam (C)
At the other end some excellent defending from Jill Fredericks (GK) and Sian Brewer (GD) in the circle meant that Storm’s lead was cut down to 3 at the end of the quarter.
Unfortunately Storm did take the match 26-21, however a really strong positive match to start with a few things to focus on in practice.
