Hurricanes took on Tadley last night with a little bit of apprehension as the last two times they met Hurricanes lost badly!
Q1 Hurricanes were down 3-4 a low scoring quarter for both teams.
Q2 something switched for both Shelli Read (GS) and Megan Williams (GA) and their movement and shooting was on fire!. score 11-9.
Q3 their movement down the court improved using straight line balls and Charley Frain (C) and Jade Ballinger (WA) switched it up running rings around there defence. Holly Walsh (WD) was always there for support, and was solid in defence throughout the court.
Q4 and Hurricanes really took the lead, defence in the circle from Sophie Grindey (GD) and Hannah Edmond (GK) along with the rest of the team up the court meant Tadley only scored 3 goals! Final score 30-18.
None of this could have been done without the much missed teams members of Laura May Pitcher and Liz Johns who had as much of a workout as they team did patrolling the court!!
